Mobile Michigan Madness

Our friends at Mousetrap Mobile have designed a mobile app to put festival information at your fingertips, and create some extra fun. Text BUYMINOW to 57780 to access the app from your cell phone, and you’ll be automatically entered to win cool surprises from Michigan-based companies like gift cards, art, tees, spa treatments, and more. We’ll be giving away a different prize every hour, but you must be present to win. So the more time you spend at the fest, the more opportunities you have to win. Let the madness begin!

Scavenger Hunt

Throughout the fest, guests can participant in a fun scavenger hunt around town for a chance to win cool giveaways. A series of clues will lead to different locations, where each mystery can be solved. Complete the mission successfully, and you’ll be entered to win a spa package, gift basket, gift card, and more.

Pledge and Be Pampered

Show your commitment to supporting Michigan-based businesses and there may be a treat in store for you! Stop by the Buy Michigan Now information booth (Main & Center) to take our pledge to Think Michigan First and you could win a Touch of Luxury Spa Day Package. The package features: 30 Minute Hot Rock Massage, Essential Blue Facial, Pedicure and Manicure, and is courtesy of our friends at Indigo Salon, Spa & Boutique in Canton.

Pie Eating Contest

For some good old fashioned summer fun, and great eats, enter or watch the pie eating contest hosted by Edwards Catering (149 E. Main). The contest will take place at 5PM on Saturday August 6th. The winner will receive a $100 Edward’s gift card! A $5 donation is requested with all proceeds going to charity. Contest space is limited so call 248-344-1550 to sign up today!

Recipe Contest

For the second consecutive year, our friends at Hiller’s Markets are helping us encourage buying Michigan foods by sponsoring the We’re Cookin’ in Michigan Recipe Contest. Foodies from throughout the area have been submitting recipes for a chance to win a $250 gift card from Hiller’s. The recipes are built around a primary ingredient that is grown or produced in Michigan, and seventy five percent of the other ingredients must also fit that criteria. Four finalists will square off at Epiphany Kitchens (107 N. Center) at 2PM on Sunday, August 7th to prepare their dishes for our 3 guest judges: Cooking Instructor Dawn Bause, Hiller’s Chef Pete Julian, and radio personality and food fanatic, Adam Helfman. Drop by and see what’s cookin’!

Fairy, Gnome, and Troll Costume Contest

Inspired by the fairy doors that can be found all over downtown Northville, the Kids Zone (145 N. Center) will become an enchanted fairy courtyard on Sunday. Girls and boys are invited to come dressed as fairies, gnomes, or trolls to win fun surprises. The contest is scheduled to begin at 2PM on Sunday, August 7th.
